# Team Buildings

> "If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself" Henry Ford

### Team Building

At Astrafy, we move fast and execute relentlessly. However, we know that to maintain our pace and deliver a "WOW" experience to our clients, we must deliberately make time to slow down, disconnect, and recharge together.

For us, team building is not an HR checkbox; it is the foundation of our Trust & Caring value. We believe the best architectural decisions and the most resilient teams are built by people who genuinely enjoy spending time together.

Here is how we foster that connection, both locally and globally.

#### The Local Rhythm: Afterworks & Ad-Hoc Events

We do not wait for a formal, bi-annual event to have fun. Our local hubs are constantly buzzing with activity:

* **The "Last Thursday" Afterwork**: To anchor our month, we host a dedicated company afterwork on the last Thursday of every month in both our Geneva and Madrid entities. It is a guaranteed time to close the laptops, grab a drink, and catch up with your local colleagues.
* **Ad-Hoc Activities**: Throughout the year, we organize regular, spontaneous dinners and team activities based on what the team actually wants to do—whether that is hitting a local bar, going karting, playing paintball, or attending a sports event or concert.

#### The Bi-Annual Retreats (Company-Wide)

Daily life in the Data & Gen AI space can be noisy, which can prevent you from thinking big. To foster true innovation, we step entirely away from our screens twice a year (in late July and early January) for a three-day company-wide retreat in a vibing European city.

From Wednesday to Saturday, we bring our international hubs together to align our vision and strengthen the Astrafy family spirit.

These retreats are designed around a few core objectives:

* **Total Disconnection**: Stepping completely away from daily client projects and Slack notifications to clear our minds.
* **Strategic Brainstorming**: Collaborating on Astrafy's mid-term and long-term company strategy so everyone has a voice in our scale-up journey.
* **Hackathons & Innovation**: Running internal workshops on disruptive new tools and frameworks that we usually do not have the bandwidth to explore deeply during standard work weeks.
* **Adrenaline & Adventure**: Tackling challenging group activities, such as long hikes and adventure sports, to build trust outside the office.
* **Culinary Exploration**: As a team of dedicated foodies, we always ensure we share incredible, memorable meals together throughout the trip.
