Your first days with us

Doing a great job at welcoming a new member is of the utmost importance for us. We know how stressful it can be to start a new job and we therefore want to make those days as pleasant as possible.
After You Accept Our Offer
We’re pumped and honored to have you on board!
Here are a few tasks we will do:
Announce your arrival internally via a blog post and loom video
Send you instructions for setting up your new Astrafy email
Send you a welcome email to help you prepare for your new adventure
Send you the hardware (Laptop, headphone…)
Send you a welcome pack with hoodies
Ask for any special requests, e.g. specific books we can send you
The Week Before You Join
There is some administrative work to do to make sure you’re all set up.
Our HR manager will set you up in our HR and payroll system with all required information. This step will ensure that you start being paid smoothly on the 25th of each month.
One of our dev will contact you to set up your laptop with all our internal tools.
A Few Days Before You Join
We will:
Send you a welcoming email with details on what to expect Week 1
Introduce your buddy who will help you through your first few months
Invite you to checkout your onboarding project in Personio
Invite you to various tools & resources via your @astrafy email address
Invite you to fill your resume with our Overleaf template
Your First Week
Here are a few tasks to do
First meeting with one of the founders to discuss the culture and values of the company
First 1:1 meeting with direct manager
Training on the internal tools we use
Training on the stack you will be using in your upcoming project
Meet as many team members as possible, ideally at our Friday "get together" in our co-working place in Geneva
