Do:

– “Hey {Manager}, I have seen that this dbt test is failing. I have checked and found duplicated rows in the orders table. I’ve created a small PR to remove the duplicates— do you think this is the appropriate solution?”

Analyze the problem, propose a solution, and if needed, ask for guidance without shifting responsibility. Your initiative in problem-solving is what drives us forward.

3. We are proactive

If something breaks in production, don’t wait for someone to point it out. Take the lead, identify the issue, and drive toward a resolution. The most valuable team members are those who find and act on the right tasks without being told.
