# Our Story

> “The hardest part is starting. Once you get that out of the way, you’ll find the rest of the journey much easier.” Simon Sinek

We are a group of ex-colleagues coming from different background and countries**.** **Our diversity has brought us together with a common passion for data**. We strongly believe that data is the new gold and getting the most out of it is our driver.

After having acquired a strong expertise in Google Cloud and data analytics, Charles took a leap of faith and convinced Andrea, Kevin and Kamil to join this project. What has bond us together from the very beginning is the envy of doing something different than just "providing consulting services". This reflects with the following key points that consist of our foundation **DNA**:

* **Open-source to its fullest** (starting with our company handbook you are currently reading). We are committed to open source anything we do (codebase, slide decks, documents, ...). We firmly believe that our competitive advantage does not lie in materials but in
 * how we handle this material at best at each project.
 * our pace to learn and innovate faster than the market.
 * our culture to onboard and educate clients how to use those material at best.
* **We do one thing and we do it well** - no body shopping whatsoever.
* **We leave politics to politicians**
* **We are doers, not talkers**.

With that in mind, we now needed to start a company in a place that was central to all of us. Geneva was an easy choice for the following reasons:

* This is the **city where most of us met** and currently live
* Beautiful city where **we all love to spend time**.
* **Pool of talents** accessible through a number of top universities.
* **Fast-growing market** in terms of data analytics projects.
* **Ideally located in Europe.** Allows us to easily reach every main cities in Europe.
* Switzerland is home the **largest Google office** in mainland Europe.

Since June 2023, we also operate in Spain.
